About the job
The ICRC Water and Habitat Unit seeks a competent Water & Habitat Administrative Assistant to join our team in Kyiv. The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Water and Habitat (WatHab) team.
Start date: January 2025
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform various office work which requires computer knowledge and secretarial skills
- Provide general administrative support to the Water and Habitat Team
- Contribute to the department reporting in coordination with the reporting focal point
- Prepare the Partner operation agreement (OPA) drafts/contract package based on the documents provided by the engineers
- Translate from one or more languages into English, Ukrainian, or Russian, and vice versa
- Ensure information flow within the office
- Create and maintain paper or electronic files up to date

About you
To be successful as an Administrative Assistant in the Water and Habitat Unit, you should possess the following qualifications and experiences and have the following characteristics:
- Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
- High school diploma or equivalent training
- 2 years of professional experience in a secretarial position
- Professional fluency (written and spoken) in English and Ukrainian
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, SharePoint)
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principles
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
- Ability to work independently, as well as effectively under supervision
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work within a diverse team and establish and maintain good working relations in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary environment
