The candidate serves as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, including troubleshooting hardware (computers, printers, smart-boards, projectors) and software problems.
- User Assistance: Provide technical support to staff and students on school software systems (Office365, SeeSaw, etc.), Windows, macOS, iOS devices, and other technologies.
- Device Management: Troubleshoot school computers, laptops, and mobile devices for staff and students.
- Network Support: Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including diagnosing internet connectivity issues, resolving local network problems, and reporting issues to the IT Manager.
- Software Support: Install, update, and configure software on school devices as per the IT department’s guidelines.
- Data Security & Privacy: Follow protocols to maintain data security, user privacy, and compliance with relevant school policies and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team to support larger projects, including system upgrades, new software implementations, and network maintenance.
Strong candidates will have:
- English communication skills at a high level
- A willingness to respond to queries quickly and positively
- Experience working with children and young adults
- The ability to problem-solve and collaborate
- Interest in Robotics and Legos and a willingness to help with this programs
