POSITION SUMMARY:
Project manager with sufficient capacity and knowledge in Long Term Care activities such as disability inclusion, MHPSS, assistive technology. The PM will be responsible for oversight of budget and program activities in a timely and efficient manner and will be the liaison between the project and key government and working group stakeholders. The role supervises a team of protection coordinators and psychologists based in three regions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Technical Oversight
- Manage the assigned MHPSS project to meet the project objectives within budget and within the allotted timeframe
- Provide strong leadership of the project, ensuring both short-term and long-term outcomes
- Continuously monitor and supervise activities, evaluating progress through analysing outputs and outcomes using both quantitative and qualitative data
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all activities.
- Provide leadership in MHPSS, participating in needs assessments, embedding learning in the design of new initiatives and writing of proposals
Operations Oversight
- Manage the project budgets and ensure all expenses are according to budget and meet the standards about financial management, including accountability and good governance
- Liaise, as necessary, with the logistics and finance staff to ensure items are procured, transported, stored, managed and accounted for correctly.
- Line-manage the project Officers, facilitate regular meetings for information sharing between project staff, development of workplans, coaching and training of the team.
Liaison
- Develop and maintain transparent, supportive communication with all relevant stakeholders, including donors, government entities, and local communities
- Actively participate in Protection and other sector-specific working groups, contributing to discussions, sharing insights, and staying informed on broader humanitarian strategies and responses.
- Represent the project in external meetings, forums, and networks, advocating for the needs and priorities communities and the project’s goals.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Project management experience for at least 3 years in humanitarian health, preferably in the Ukrainian context and with PMDPro certification.
- English command and strong analytical capacity assessment, and planning skills.
- Strong capacity for developing budgets for development projects
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project management software
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, ability to deliver when facing multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Must be a self-starter, strongly motivated and interested in rapidly producing results

- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
- University education in relevant field required (social sciences, applied sciences, business or similar). Advanced degree, preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in NGOs
- Project management experience for at least 3 years in humanitarian health, preferably in the Ukrainian
- Up to 50% domestic travel
