Business Finance Associate

 Meet   your future team 

You will become part of the local VELUX Group finance team in Kyiv, working closely with colleagues from sales, operations and the regional finance network. 

Our team is small, close-knit and practically oriented. We provide a full cycle of financial, tax and administrative processes, ensuring compliance with legal and group requirements, accuracy and smooth daily work. In this position, you will work in SAP Business One (SBO) and play the role of an important link between finance and other departments of the company. 

 What we offer 

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial and administrative tasks, gaining experience in various aspects of the company's operations. You will have the opportunity to develop your competencies in accounting, reporting, compliance and cross-functional interaction in an international environment. 

In more detail, your tasks will include: 

• Accounting and control of fixed assets 

• Processing and reconciliation of payments with suppliers and VAT 

• Processing of supplier invoices (accounts payable) 

• Making a bank statement and making payments to a bank client 

• Writing off materials 

• Making international payments and ensuring compliance with currency legislation 

• Maintaining and updating master data in SAP Business One (SBO) 

• Customer receivables control (credit control) 

• Contract administration (suppliers, buyers) 

• Coordination of administrative issues related to business trips, vacations and fuel accounting 

• Performing EDI administrator functions 

• Support other financial and operational processes as needed 

What  will you bring with you? 

We are looking for a structured and proactive accounting professional who is confident in working with detailed accounting tasks while also being willing to support broader administrative processes. You enjoy taking responsibility, working independently and ensuring accuracy in everything you do. 

Furthermore, we expect that  B and: 

• You have experience in accounting or finance (experience with SAP Business One would be an advantage) 

• Understand and have knowledge of local accounting principles, VAT and currency regulation 

• You work confidently with fixed assets, accounts payable and receivable 

• You have a basic level of English (spoken and written) 

• You work in a structured manner and pay attention to detail 

• Are responsible, reliable and able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment
