We are looking for a Credit Controller to join the Vetropack Gostomel finance team and play a key role in strengthening internal control processes and ensuring effective management of credit-related activities.
This position involves close cooperation with cross-functional teams to enhance process transparency, ensure compliance with internal policies, and support the stability of financial operations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop Credit Policy and Procedures
- Accounts Receivable monitoring and DSO management
- Support sales team in the collections activities
- Advise on and develop credit risk mitigation tools
- Engagement in cash flow forecasting
- Monitor and control changes to payment terms and pricing in SAP in line with company policies.
- Perform independent control over the process of unblocking customer orders.
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of control mechanisms in SAP, including automated approval workflows.
- Regularly review and manage user access rights within the system.
- Monitor credit risks and support financial discipline across operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
Required qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Understanding of working capital and cash flow dynamics
- Relevant experience in finance, credit control, or a similar function.
- Practical experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Understanding of financial processes and internal control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
