We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Ukraine, overseeing the HR function for a Family Office-based unit with employees across multiple locations, including Ukraine, Cyprus, the UK, and the UAE. As the sole HR professional for this unit, you will manage and execute all aspects of HR, such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with local labor laws. You will also be responsible for driving learning and development initiatives to foster employee growth and engagement. Additionally, you will collaborate with HR colleagues from other business units to share knowledge, best practices, and ensure alignment of HR strategies across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and employee relations.
- Oversee employee benefits and monitor staff performance.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
- Organize team- building activities and foster workplace engagement.
- Support employee relocations and settling-in services.
- Manage employee documents and ensure legal compliance.
- Coordinate training programs to support employee development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and administer HR system.
- Define and execute the learning and development programs to support employee growth, upskilling, and career advancement, ensuring that training initiatives align with organizational goals.
- Create HR-related policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Lead HR-related initiatives and improvements.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues from other business units to ensure strategic alignment.
- Execute other HR-related activities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in a business unit with regionally distributed teams.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, recruitment strategies, and employment laws.
- Proven ability to design and implement Learning and Development programs to support employee growth, skill enhancement, and career development.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing documents and compliance-related matters.
- Experience with compensation, benefits administration, and employee rewards programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive work environment and manage employee relations effectively.
- Ability to plan and execute team-building activities and support employee relocations.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to handling HR matters.
- Passionate about efficiency and a quality problem solver.
- Experience working with Family Office - based organizations could be Plus.
- Upper Intermediate English level.
