  • Support and development of high level business reputation by representing the interests inscientific centers and authorities in Ukraine.
  • Comprehensive independent assessment and determination of the corporate products and services qualitylevel of conformity to the National and European standards.
  • Properly certify and register cosmetics and home care for importation and sale in assigned region. Work with Headquarters and certification lab staff collaboratively as a team member.
  • Knowledge of standards in the following area:o National and Subnational Nutrition regulatory standards (Technical regulations) in Ukraineo Basic Nutrition regulatory knowledge of European regulation
  • Monitoring changes in regulation and determining potential risks for import and marketing of cosmetics and home care products sold by сompany.
  • Ensuring that any potential risks are escalated through the rightchannels and resolved in a timely manner to avoid impact to product sales in Ukraine.
  • Providing dossier on product certification of thecompany products in Ukraine as required per locallegislation.
  • Checking and approving artworks in accordance with requirements of the Ukrainian technicallegislation.
  • Preparing regular progress reports.
  • Consulting and support to departments of company about product questions. Back-up for the Regulatory Affairs Specialist for Home and Beauty categories during absence toensure business continuance.
  • Takes responsibility in supporting Customer Service and Sales Department on any relatedtechnical questions from customers for company products ensuring alignment with departmentssuch as Marketing, Legal, etc.
  • Involvement in activities aimed at protecting the interests of company during scheduled andunscheduled inspections of products by state authorities, preparing documentation, arranginginternal and external examination of goods (if necessary and at the request of governmentagencies), coordinating activities with technical regulation specialists, marketing, lawyers andother departments.
  • Proactively monitors activities for current and future business opportunities/threats; impacting our ability to sell and market products and solution technologies long-term.
  • Coordinates intelligence gathering by identifying and summarizing trends and analyzing threatsand opportunities; provides analysis and impact assessment of current and developing regulations
  • Enhances corporate credibility and expands/protects enterprise access to the marketplace byleveraging key internal/external relationships
  • Partners with corporate counterparts to develop regulatory policy and intelligence, lobbyingstrategies and to ensure strategies/activities are aligned with corporate business plans andidentified risks or opportunities
  • Develops and manages the strategy, budget and progress toward stated goals for assignedlobbying efforts? Plans and coordinates regional or global regulatory activities with associations, non-governmentorganizations (NGOs), third party manufacturers, standardization bodies, governmental advisorsand scientific cooperation partners
  • Supporting productive relations with employees at the headquarters in USA, with employees ofother subsidiary companies in Europe, and with state and other institutions and organizations thatregulate company product quality and safety.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Nutrition regulatory environment
  • BS degree in Nutrition, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or a related technical discipline
  • Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance with Nutrition, interpreting regulatory issues
  • Talent to read and interpret the impact of regulatory changes for appliances
  • Talent to communicate across cultures, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Command of English – upper-intermediate
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite, Siemens Teamcenter a plus
  • Project management experience helpful
  • Good in communicating and presenting technical data (both verbally and written) to influencemultiple audiences in English and relevant market language
  • Accurately processes, documents and provides timely information
  • First experience in the use of related analytical or scientific software, databases and applicationsto include use of typical office suite software packages would be beneficial? Strong interpersonal skills are a must
