Nestle Ukraine, worldwide leader in Food and Beverage industry, successfully working and developing in Ukraine, is announcing an opening of Regulatory Affairs Specialist position in Kyiv.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of local and imported food products to Ukrainian regulatory requirements and Nestle standards (ingredient list, permitted food additives, flavorings, nutrition values, claims, novel ingredient requirements, communication materials etc.);
- Provide communication service to all relevant stakeholders on regulatory changes and/or issues;
- Full engagement in each stage of the product development process;
- Provide the necessary information on the requirements of Ukrainian food legislation to the importing countries for products that are sold in Nestle Ukraine;
- Cooperate with authorities and NGOs on food regulations.
Main Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline (pharmaceutic, chemistry, food industry, technological);
- 1+ years of experience in regulatory affairs (FMCG sector);
- Ability to develop and sustain a reasonable argument in the face of lack of understanding or opposition;
- A high level of personal integrity is required, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and closely with others to achieve the business goals;
- Independent judgement in supporting and facilitating others in the implementation of predetermined goals and/or standards;
- Independent judgement in specifying new products, processes, standards based on organization strategy;
- Experience and strong relationship with governmental bodies as State Standard, Ukrcondprom, Ministry of Health, State Service of Ukraine on issues of food safety and consumer protection.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Developed proactive cooperation abilities, result focus, initiative, flexibility;
- Negotiation and leadership skills;
- Analytical skills and the ability to analyze the impact of local legislation;
- Problem solving skills to define solutions;
- Fluent in Ukrainian and upper-intermediate English;
- Good skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Outlook.
