We are seeking a talented HVAC Designer/Drafter to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and project managers to create detailed drawings and layouts of HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop HVAC system designs and layouts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Create detailed drawings, plans, and schematics using drafting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
- Coordinate with other members of the design team to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems with other building systems.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members to ensure project objectives are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, plumbing design, or related field.
- Understand the design principles of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems and how they operate.
- English up to intermediate/intermediate (but we are ready to consider lower levels).
- Prior experience in HVAC design or drafting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit or DesignMaster.
- Knowledge of BIM basics is preferred but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Desire to learn new things and develop as part of a team.
