DAI is seeking highly qualified candidates to occupy the STTA position of Designer for the National Agency on Corruption Prevention position to work on the recently awarded Promoting Integrity in the Public Sector Activity (Pro-Integrity), a $90 million, multiyear contract funded by USAID.

Project Background 

The purpose of the Promoting Integrity in the Public Sector Activity (Pro-Integrity) is to reduce corruption incidence and risks to build back a better Ukraine. The Pro-Integrity Activity (also referred heretofore as the Activity) will work to achieve this purpose by addressing three independent objectives: 

  • Strengthen national level anti-corruption institutional capacity to advance corruption prevention, detection, and deterrence; 
  • Strengthen anti-corruption compliance and control in local governance; 
  • Advance transparency and accountability in resilience, recovery, and reconstruction efforts. 

The Pro-Integrity Activity will pursue a problem-driven approach addressing the root causes through targeted objectives aligned with mission and U.S. government strategy. 

Position Description 

The graphic designer will work closely with various departments and divisions of NACP (National Agency on Corruption Prevention) to support the implementation of the Communication Strategy for Preventing and Combating Corruption.  The designer will help develop key communication materials to support the messaging and outreach of the NACP.  This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to adhere to the NACP’s branding guidelines, including the use of their core styles, logo, and colors. 

Responsibilities 

  • Review NACP documents and familiarize themselves with the scope, specific activity areas, and emerging directions. 
  • Create and design various materials in accordance with the design style of NACP, in particular design of up to 5 brochure layouts (10 pages each), up to 5 presentation layouts, up to 3 manuals/guides, up to 10 infographics (one-pager) layouts a model code of integrity, training and methodological materials for employees of authorized units for the prevention and detection of corruption (from 20 to 80 pages each), sociological surveys with reports of 100 pages each, national report, up to 500 pages and other. 
  • Ensure that all materials adhere to the branding guidelines and maintain a consistent and professional look across different formats. 
  • Design templates for newsletters, digests, presentations in line with the core style, logo, and colors provided by the NACP.  
  • Any other tasks as requested by project or NACP team. 

  Requirements: 

  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional graphic designing experience 
  • A degree in Design or Arts or any other relevant field is required 
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations and other graphics is required 
  • Familiarity with  software and technologies (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or any other software the project sees fit for use) is required 
  • Excellent communication skills are required 
  • A solid understanding of typography  is an advantage 
  • Knowledge of motion design principles  is an advantage  
  • Additional demonstrated proficiency in the use of graphic arts/design, data visualization, and/or other applications relevant for the development of communications products preferred.
