ZOA Ukraine is a branch of ZOA, an international humanitarian organization, based in the Netherlands, providing emergency relief to people who are affected by conflicts and natural disasters. In 2024, ZOA is operating in 14 countries.
ZOA is working in 3 regions in Ukraine, Chernihiv, Kherson and Mykolaiv. ZOA is active in various sectors such as Shelter, Livelihoods and CASH assistance.

The ideal candidate has excellent written and spoken English skills, a strong background in Corporate Communications or Public Relations Management combined with a hands on mentality. They should be comfortable answering inbound phone calls, distributing mail to employees and handling outgoing mail. They should also possess a friendly demeanor so they can effectively interact with office visitors.

Main activities

Tasks, responsibilities, and expected results

PR

  • Ability to craft press releases and media kits;
  • Social media management and content creation;
  • preparing flyers, designing organizational learning papers; 
  • regular update of ZOA  Facebook website;
  • Preparing  of presentations.

Responsibilities Office Management

  • Coordinate and organize office activities 
  • Office facility management
  • Oversee and purchase of stock of office supplies 
  • Handling Petty Cash Box for Office
  • Greet visitors at office 
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound office mail 
  • Support in scheduling meetings, interviews, transport and accommodation
  • Organizing Work Shops and Corporate Events
  • Translation of formal documents (UA-Engl./Engl.-UA)

Qualifications

  • Strategic Thinking and planning abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications (English/Ukrainian)
  • Experience with administrative and clerical work Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Strong ability to multitask 
  • Proven working experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications or Journalism

The duty station for this position is Kyiv.
