International Lawyer / Legal Advisor for IT Company

This role is defined as a Virtual Legal Officer.
Responsibilities:
— Support multinational IT companies in the Fintech & Web3 industries by analyzing their legal needs, selecting the most appropriate global solutions in legal, tax, and compliance areas, and assisting in the engagement of qualified local professionals for the delivery of these solutions.
— Develop legal work roadmaps that include a list of defined solutions in legal, tax, and compliance areas across relevant jurisdictions.
— Oversee the implementation of these developed legal roadmaps on the client’s online platform. This involves communicating directly with clients on one end and the relevant legal specialists who deliver defined solutions on the other.
Requirements:
Hard Skills:
— 3+ years of legal experience;
— Understanding of the business cycles of technology companies, including initial legal setup, venture capital raising, and launching IT products on international markets, as well as related legal needs at different stages;
— Experience with company registration and maintenance in tech-friendly and venture-friendly countries such as the USA, UK, Estonia, Singapore, and UAE.
— Proficiency in drafting corporate law documents (SHA, SPA, AoA / Bylaws) and commercial law documents (B2B contracts: MSA, SLA, B2B SaaS etc and B2C contracts: EULA, T&C);
— Basic knowledge of international taxation principles for multinational corporate structures (CFC, CT, CGT, PE, PoEM, etc.);
— Prior experience in Fintech, VASP/CASP, or other regulated industries is a plus;
— Previous roles as in-house lawyer in multinational IT companies would be an advantage;
— Common law education from universities or law schools is preferred.
Soft Skills:
— Experience with multinational clients and markets, strong written and oral communication skills;
— Proficient in interviewing clients to identify their legal needs;
— Able to multitask and manage multiple clients simultaneously;
— Experience in communicating with legal professionals from different jurisdictions and negotiating cooperation terms;
— Fluent English.
