Mid-level Associate - International Litigation and Arbitration
There is an excellent opportunity for talented legal professionals — we are looking for a highly committed Mid-level Associate to join the successful team of the International Litigation and Arbitration department.
Our Client is a leading legal firm that continues its dynamic development and supports Ukraine even in conditions of instability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working on complex and high-profile cross-border cases
Carrying out legal research and legal analysis of international litigation matters
Drafting legal opinions, letters, reports, requests, memoranda, statements, etc
Preparation and submission of procedural documents
Communication with clients, preparation of commercial offers and presentations
Manage cases and advise clients on various legal aspects
Represent domestic and international clients in arbitration or litigation proceedings
Participation in negotiations, regular meetings and calls with partners, clients and the team
Proactive support of team members while working on various legal assignments
Supervise junior associates
Participation in PR activities
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or as an in-house lawyer in the Dispute Resolution Department (International Arbitration/Cross-Border Litigation)
- Solid legal education. Western LL.M would be an advantage
- Fluent in Ukrainian, russian, and English (including legal English)
- Good knowledge of procedural law and arbitral proceedings
- Strong drafting, analytical, and research skills
- Commitment to high work standards and strong attention to details
- Strong client service orientation
- Ability to effectively delegate to junior colleagues and provide good feedback
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Participation in Moot Court competitions would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Initiative, proactivity and client-oriented attitude
