Tax Accountant

GROUPE SEB Ukraine - international company with operations in almost 150 countries, the world leader in Small Household Equipment (Tefal, Moulinex, Rowenta, Krups and many others) is looking for a Candidate on Tax Accountant position.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and annual Ukrainian tax compliance, calculation CPT (in cooperation with Chief Accountant);
• Monitor tax Ukrainian legislation, evaluate risks, implement changes and offer mitigating actions on weekly basis;
• Prepare Finance, statistics, tax (CPT, VAT) reports according to the Tax Code of Ukraine & Ukrainian national accounting standards (UNAS);
• Manage Local software and implement new features and updates;
• Tax check\reviews, including analyzing certain areas of accounting records, tax reporting and primary documents of company, verifying tax treatment of business transactions on monthly basis;
• VAT - accounting and closing, checking and preparation data for tax declaration;
• Respond to related tax correspondence and research issues as they arise, preparation of requests \ answers to requests to the tax inspection;
• Assist with and lead state tax audits as they arise;
• Performing researches in the legal databases on tax, accounting and law matters;
• Preparing relevant sections of the tax, accounting and legal advices, cooperating with local audit firms;
• Consultation for counterparties, emloyees on tax issues;
• Formation of a procedure for managing tax risks (identification, assessment), leading projects to minimize tax risks;
• Transfer pricing documentation controlling (communication with KPMG on TP, analysis of current operations in order to avoid risks on transfer pricing issues);
• Confirmation of contracts on tax issues, analysis of taxation issues on non-standard transactions;
• Checking cash discipline related cash registration book, cash register using;
• Other tasks according to Chief Accountant's request.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Audit or Taxation;
• Relevant Ukrainian or international qualification (e.g., ACCA, CAP\CIPA, CPA, Audit Chamber of Ukraine certificate) is a plus but not a requirement.

Knowledge, experience and skills:

• Strong knowledge of the Tax Code of Ukraine and Ukrainian national accounting standards (UNAS). IAS/IFRS;
• At least 3 years of accounting/ financial/ tax experience. Experience in international companies (e.g., trading and producing entities, etc.);
• English - upper intermediate;
• Strong analytical and communicative skills;
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and learn fast;
• Ability to lead the projects.
