Head of Accounting Methodology Department
General description of the vacancy:
Accounting methodology in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and participation in preparation of the financial statements
Functional responsibilities:
- to ensure compliance of the Group's accounting policy and other internal regulatory documents with IFRS and operational needs;
- to develop internal regulatory documents outlining accounting procedures and policies for specific processes;
- to provide support and explain the accounting related queries;
- to play a key role in monthly closing, quarterly consolidated financial statements preparation;
- to participate in the annual audit of the consolidated financial statements and the separate financial statements of Group companies (support; dealing with audit requests);
- to implement improvements in ERP for accounting process;
- to prepare and process other ad hoc requests.
Our perfect candidate has:
- ACCA (fully qualified);
- higher economic education;
- knowledge and application of IFRS principles and concepts;
- 4 years minimum experience in Big4;
- 2 years minimum experience in large complex organizations;
- advanced skills in MS Excel and ability to work with large amounts of information;
- Excellent communication skills
- level of English – advanced.
