We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join the Legal & Compliance team at Sona Group — an international pharmaceutical group operating in Ukraine, Estonia, and Central Asia.
This Kyiv-based role will play a key part in supporting legal operations, ensuring smooth document flow, and maintaining compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, international partners, and external service providers (email, phone, virtual meetings)
- Draft, format, and manage corporate, legal, and regulatory documents, including filings with Ukrainian authorities and international requirements
- Conduct legal research related to pharma regulations, marketing compliance, and industry standards
- Maintain and organize legal documentation in Google Drive (contracts, licenses, corporate records)
- Support legal aspects of employee onboarding and compliance documentation (including military accounting requirements in Ukraine)
- Assist with corporate governance matters across the Group’s entities in Ukraine and abroad
- Ensure accurate documentation and strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Who we are looking for:
- 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Junior Lawyer, or similar in-house role
- Fluency in Ukrainian (both written and spoken); English — Intermediate+ level
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and full-time from the Kyiv office
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail
- Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt quickly
- High level of responsibility when handling confidential information
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be a strong advantage
- Understanding of compliance standards and corporate legal processes
