Our client, an international leader in the production and distribution of nutrition, cosmetics, and home care products, is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist in Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company’s interests in scientific centers and governmental authorities in Ukraine to maintain a high business reputation.
- Assess and ensure product compliance with national and European standards.
- Certify and register nutrition products for importation and sale in Ukraine.
- Monitor regulatory changes, analyze potential risks for importing and marketing nutrition products, and escalate risks through appropriate channels to ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare reports and dossiers on product certification in compliance with Ukrainian legislation.
- Review and approve product labels according to Ukrainian technical regulations.
- Provide consultations and support to other company departments regarding product-related inquiries.
- Coordinate with government bodies during inspections, prepare required documentation, and liaise with internal departments to ensure compliance.
- Build relationships with associations, standardization bodies, scientific partners, and governmental organizations to protect the company’s interests.
- Inform marketing departments about changes in legislation affecting the company’s products.
Requirements:
- Higher education in nutrition, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, or related fields.
- Deep understanding of Ukrainian and European regulatory standards for food products.
- Proficient in English (upper-intermediate level).
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with Siemens Teamcenter is a plus.
- Project management skills are an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
