Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager with a background in USA logistics as a Freight Broker, Dispatcher, or Operations Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to acquire new customers for our freight shipping, warehouse services, and drayage operations. This is a high-impact position for a professional who thrives in business development, customer acquisition, and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and secure new customers who require freight shipping, warehouse, or drayage services.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, shippers, and carriers.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and satisfaction of new customers.
- Oversee and optimize logistics operations, ensuring on-time deliveries and efficient service.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and clients to maximize profitability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market demands to provide tailored solutions to customers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in USA logistics as a Freight Broker, Dispatcher, or Operations Manager.
- Strong sales and customer acquisition skills with a track record of growing client bases.
- In-depth knowledge of freight shipping, warehouse operations, and drayage services.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve business goals.
- Proficiency in logistics software, CRM tools, and industry-related platforms.
