Our company is recruiting a Logistics and Purchasing Officer for the Belgian development agency.
The client company is committed to building a sustainable world by addressing global challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and urbanization. The agency implements development projects in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, including significant efforts to support the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage procurement processes (preparing and analyzing proposals, creating a supplier database, controlling the supply chain).
- Coordinate logistics (transportation of goods, registration of equipment, ensuring all necessary permits and documents).
- Maintain office operations and equipment (repairs, maintenance, agreements with landlords, purchasing, and installing equipment).
- Conduct inventory and stock reporting.
- Organize events and support business trips (hotel bookings, transfers, event organization).
- Support tax and customs operations (certificates, temporary imports, tax exemptions).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, or procurement.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar field.
- Knowledge of public procurement procedures, basics of inventory management, and quality standards.
- Basic knowledge of customs procedures is a plus.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, and IT equipment.
- Experience with international NGOs or bilateral agencies is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English( В2-С1)
