About Us: Sounders Transport is seeking a detail-oriented Trucking Company Dispatcher to join our team. We specialize in Flatbed and Stepdeck freight and prioritize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Searching for available loads and negotiating freight rates with clients.
- Coordinate freight pickup and delivery, assigning routes and providing instructions to drivers.
- Monitor driver performance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and delivery deadlines.
- Resolve logistical issues and communicate effectively with drivers and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of driver activities and fuel consumption.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; logistics training preferred.
- Previous dispatcher or transportation industry experience.
- Proficiency in transportation management software and GPS tracking systems.
- Excellent English fluency is required.
- Friendly, responsible, and able to handle stressful situations.
