Patient Care Coordinator (Spanish and English languages)
About us: We are Outsourcing company providing administrative services to the American pharmaceutical company located in New York, USA. We are looking for Patient Care Coordinator which is critical for the daily operations of our organisation.
This position involves handling outgoing calls, educating patients on the use of compounding medications, verifying necessary information for prescription processing, and providing excellent customer service to support patient care.
Essential Functions:
Call the patient regarding their initial prescriptions to educate patients on how to properly use compounding medications, collect and verify all necessary information for the compounds to be produced and sent to the patient, if required, obtain payments over the phone and process transactions.
Make follow up calls. Conduct follow-up calls to check on patients’ progress with their treatment and address any concerns; conduct a treatment effectiveness survey interview, ensure patients are satisfied with their medication and help if needed.
If necessary, contact the pharmacist for further consultation. Provide translation services between the pharmacist and patient to ensure clear communication (If the patient speaks Russian or Ukrainian).
Track and document patients’ progress and concerns.
Requirements:
Strong written communication for patient notes and documentation.
Active listening and empathy when speaking with patients.
Staying calm and composed.
Cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Spanish and English (level B2+ and upper)
