ABOUT THE PROJECT

Video Server (up to 100 cameras per server): live streaming, recordings, video analytics, license plate recognition, video motion detection, etc.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, tech-savvy Testing & Support Specialist to bridge the gap between quality assurance and customer experience. You will ensure our software is robust through rigorous testing while simultaneously providing high-level technical support to our clients, acting as the final line of defense before release and the first line of support after. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance (60%):
    • Execute manual and automated tests (functional, regression, and smoke testing) on web and mobile applications.
    • Identify, isolate, and document software defects (bugs) in JIRA, providing clear steps to reproduce.
    • Collaborate with developers to validate bug fixes and ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Technical Support (40%):
    • Provide expert technical support to clients via email, chat, and video calls, troubleshooting complex technical issues.
    • Research, diagnose, and resolve software issues, escalating bugs to the engineering team when necessary.
    • Build and maintain a knowledge base (FAQs) for common technical issues to improve user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing (QA) and/or technical support.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and basic database queries (SQL).
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, svn).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and a patient, customer-oriented mindset.
