Smarter is a management company responsible for defining the overall strategy of investment activities and ensuring optimal management and development strategies for each business unit within the group. The company’s primary areas of business interests encompass investment activities, information technologies, and trading. We are seeking a Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing cash flow, budgeting, financial reporting, risk assessment, tax planning, investment analysis, and managing financial operations including audits and ERP implementation for a group of companies in Ukraine.

In this role, you will

  • Planning, managing, and monitoring of cash flow and expenses
  • Budget planning and budget reviewing for the group of the companies
  • Analyzing and reporting on financial performance in timely manner
  • Financial risks assessment and analyzing
  • Retain constant awareness of the financial position for each UA company of the Group and develop financial solutions
  • Managing financial statements audit for some companies by «Big Four» and local auditors
  • Tax planning for the group of the companies
  • Assessment of investment projects
  • Managing the process of entities foundation or liquidation (if needed)
  • Participating in developing and implementing of financial policies and processes for the group of the companies in UA
  • Set targets for and supervise all Smarter UA financial department personnel
  • Manage effective relationships with partners, banks and key vendors of the company
  • Participation in the ERP implementation project
  • Supervise all financial processes of the company, ensure prompt payment of all company-agreed expenditure
  • Collaboration with different departments (HR, Legal etc.) to ensure all the business process are effective and supported

What we expect:

  • from 3 to 5 years of similar experience
  • experience with Google Sheets at a professional user level will be an advantage
  • experience with Navision and Business Central ERP systems will be an advantage
  • good communication and managerial skills
  • attention to details, good self-organization
  • problem-solving and decision-making skills
