What are you going to do?
Design and implement a scalable and efficient data warehouse using AWS technologies (e.g., Redshift, S3, EMR).
Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data from various sources (e.g., Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, messaging systems).
Build and optimize data models for analytical and reporting purposes.
Create and maintain data infrastructure for efficient data access and analysis.
Collaborate with product owners and analysts to provide data insights and support their work.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering.
Our ideal candidate:
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Experience with data ingestion and processing tools (e.g., Kafka, SQS, SNS).
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data transformation techniques.
Experience with scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) for automation.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
