What we expect from you
As an Analyst, you will work under the supervision of the Finance Director and the Headquarters' Controlling Department. Among your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide support in budgeting and control processes: Elaboration and support in preparation of budget of brands with all departments of the Company under supervision of Finance Director
- Controlling: Regular preparation of analytical reports for all departments of the Company including the control over expenses versus budget (or forecast & prior periods). Follow up and investigation of deviations from budget under supervision of Finance Director.
- Forecasting: Provide support in the preparation and updating of monthly P&L forecasts according to Group requirements. Regularly updating the P&L forecasts in the Company's systems & contact with Group in case of any issues & discrepancies.
- Business support: Monthly reporting on operating results (sales, worked hours, P&L, investments), including preparation of various analytical reports and presentations.
- Accounting and financial reporting: Control over accuracy of expenses accounting including the accounting and controlling reporting ledgers and booking in accordance with the reporting frameworks. Support the Finance Director in annual external audits (preparation of financial statement according to mapping, etc.).
Key requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Finance, Economics.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience, including an external audit company (Big4 experience will be a plus) or a service company controlling department (retail activities and multinational companies will be highly valued).
- High level of proficiency with Excel.
- ACCA or similar certification (finished or during last stages) will be highly valued.
- Experience with preparation and analysis of financial statements.
- Intermediate English (spoken and written), Spanish will be highly valued.
- Good understanding of accounting software & experience with ERP systems. Experience with SAP BPC and Power BI will be a plus.
Other requirements
- Strong analytical skills and good business sense with self-learning initiative and capability.
- Attention to details.
- Knowledge of advanced IFRS accounting principles and procedures will be a plus.
- Sense of ownership and good time management.
- Good interpersonal skills. Ability to routinely communicate with top management.
