We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to support the sales function by preparing high-quality technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring structured and accurate sales processes at a Ukrainian engineering company that is a part of an international engineering and manufacturing holding.
The company specializes in the design, development, and production of specialized machinery and equipment for the manufacturing sector, and combines Western engineering standards with deep local expertise.
The primary focus of this position involves designing and developing specialized machinery for ammunition and energetics handling equipment, with particular emphasis on creating detailed machine assembly drawings for complex press-type operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals (RFPs, RFQs, tenders).
Collect, organize, and analyze technical and commercial information required for proposals.
Translate engineering input into clear, structured, and client-facing documentation.
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy of proposals.
Assist in preparing presentations, proposal documents, and supporting materials.
Maintain and update CRM systems (pipeline, leads, opportunities, client data).
Ensure all sales-related data is accurate, structured, and up to date.
Support the sales team with documentation, follow-ups, and internal coordination.
Assist in tracking proposal status, deadlines, and deliverables.
Conduct basic market and competitor research to support proposal development.
Standardize and improve proposal templates and documentation processes.
Ensure all materials comply with NDA requirements and confidentiality standards.
Required Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Sales Support, or similar role.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
Fluency in Ukrainian.
Ability to understand and structure technical information.
Experience preparing proposals, presentations, or technical documentation.
Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
Proficiency with standard tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
Higher technical or business education (Engineering, Business, or related field).
Experience working in engineering, manufacturing, or technical industries.
Experience supporting B2B sales processes or tender-based sales.
Familiarity with reading technical drawings or engineering documentation.
Experience working in international companies or cross-cultural environments.
Experience improving or standardizing internal processes (CRM, proposals, documentation).
Exposure to defense, industrial, or highly regulated sectors is a plus.
