Communications & Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a qualified professional to serve as Communications & Marketing Specialist at a Ukrainian engineering company that is a part of an international engineering and manufacturing holding.  

You will review contracts, partnership agreements, and compliance matters while also taking the lead on developing the company’s technology and compliance policy framework.

The company specializes in the design, development, and production of specialized machinery and equipment for the manufacturing sector, and combines Western engineering standards with deep local expertise. The company's mission centers on scaling, modernizing, and advancing technologies that directly strengthen Ukraine’s manufacturing capabilities.

Location: downtown Kyiv office, full-time.

 Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain internal communication standards to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.

• Draft, edit, and structure internal and external communications on behalf of leadership.

• Create and manage content for digital channels (LinkedIn, website, presentations, corporate materials).

• Ensure consistency of brand messaging and tone across all platforms and documents.

• Support employer branding initiatives, including job descriptions, company positioning, and candidate-facing materials.

• Research relevant industry conferences, exhibitions, and events for potential company participation.

• Support preparation of materials for events, including presentations, company profiles, and communication assets.

• Maintain and update structured databases (contacts, partners, potential clients, event lists).

• Identify and research potential clients, partners, and new market opportunities.

• Contribute to the development of communication and marketing strategies aimed at increasing visibility and attracting new clients.

• Coordinate communication activities with PR partners or external agencies where applicable.

• Monitor and improve the quality, clarity, and professionalism of all outgoing communication.

• Ensure all communication complies with NDA requirements and confidentiality standards.

Qualification criteria:

• 2–4 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related role.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory).

• Fluency in Ukrainian.

• Experience in content creation (LinkedIn, website, presentations, corporate materials).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in messaging.

• Experience in digital marketing and content management.

• Ability to structure information clearly and communicate complex ideas effectively.

• Experience working with data (basic data entry, organization of contacts, and maintaining structured lists).

• Proficiency with standard tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, content platforms).

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
