We are currently seeking an Accountant for one of your projects. The project is the gathering place for individuals working or interested in the field of blockchain & web 3. Our mission is to create the world's largest community of contributors in Web 3.0. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in financial management and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and regulations compliance.


Our perfect candidate has:


  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, reporting or financial controlling;

  • Knowledge of IFRS, financial accounting and basic international principles of taxation;

  • Experience in accounting systems (Xero, Quickbook, Zoho);

  • MS Office Excel / Google Sheets (professional proficiency);

  • High level of self-organization and responsibility;

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

  • Attention to detail, focus on results;

  • Flexibility, adaptability to changes;

  • Proactive position;

  • The ability to quickly understand new things;

  • Higher education (Accounting & Audit / Finance / Economics);

  • English: intermediate and upper;

  • experience with cryptocurrency.


The presence of CIPA, CIMA, ACCA, DipIFR certifications is not mandatory but will be a plus.



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparation, collection and control of the availability of primary documents for the company (UAE jurisdiction);

  • Accurately maintain the chart of accounts and general ledger by recording all financial transactions;

  • Review and post journal entries, as necessary;

  • Handling AP/AR related roles;

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial record;

  • Systematization and administration of documentation;

  • Help with company accounting in Xero;

  • Oversee document retention to ensure compliance with legal and company policies;

  • Work closely with other departments to collect essential financial data;

  • Ad-hoc tasks from SA.
