Responsibilities:
- Bank and Card statement reconciliation and journal postings in the Accounting system;
- Perform correspondent daily operating reconciliations and monthly in line with the closing timeline, process, and controls in place, using reconciliation tools to match internal data with statements received from the payment providers;
- Raise and post journals to the Accounting system for any adjustments that may be necessary from the investigation of the reconciling items;
- Assist with the processing and reconciliation of intercompany charges in the accounting system;
- Correspond and communicate with payment partners to resolve problems.
Requirements:
- Finance education;
- 2 + years experience in Finance (preferably FinTech industry);
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation;
- Experience with accounting software;
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and expertise in GoogleSuite;
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organisation and with external partners;
- Highly detail-oriented;
- English knowledge intermediate (verbal and writing skills).
