We are looking for a Computer Network Equipment Support Specialist to join our team!
The primary role is to act as a liaison between our clients and the company’s developers/QA team.
This includes communicating with clients, conducting remote access sessions, and gathering detailed incident information.
We are seeking a proactive, technically skilled professional.
Requirements for the Role:
Education and Experience:
- Specialized or higher technical education in fields like IT, telecommunications, or computer science.
- at least 1 year of experience in network systems support.
- English - Upper intermediate
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN).
- Knowledge of the operation and configuration of network devices (routers, switches, access points) as well as switching and routing principles.
- Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment (primarily Cisco, Mikrotik, TP-Link, or similar)
- Proficiency in working with operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
Practical Skills:
- Diagnosing and assisting in resolving network equipment issues.
- Providing consultation on configuring and monitoring network equipment.
- Collaborating with software developers and QA specialists through ticketing systems and maintaining issues tracking.
Personal Attributes:
- Attention to detail and the ability to solve problems efficiently.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters in simple terms.
- Responsibility and a results-oriented mindset.
Additional Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, are an advantage.
- Experience working with Cisco-like equipment.
- Upper intermediate English for remote client communication and problem diagnostics.
