Communication Systems Engineer

Skyeton is an international aviation company specializing in the development and production of UAS.

We are looking for Communication Systems Engineer to join our team for long-term cooperation. This is a full-time position based in our office in Kyiv.

You will join a team that is involved in the serial development of the Raybird-3 and help modernize it to enhance its efficiency and reliability.

Main tasks:

• Manage the RF/Microwave communication system solutions for the UAV Air and Ground segments.
• Specifying and defining system and link budget solutions through to the design, development, and test of RF and microwave communication systems to meet user requirements.
• Create cutting-edge systems through the design and development, assembly, integration, testing and production phases of these solutions.
• Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders it will be required to ensure all requirements are met.

Expected skills:

• Proven experience in designing and developing link budgets and RF/ microwave communication systems solutions.
• Working experience of Antenna selection and/or design.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in RF and microwave communication systems design and development.
• Experience with ITU licensing and working with regulatory authorities is a plus.
• Experience with ground stations design principles.
• Experience with military and aerospace communication systems.
• Experience with satellite communication systems is a plus.
• Experience with digital signal processing and software-defined radio is a plus.
