IT Manager

About the Role 

This is a hands-on leadership role designed for a proactive IT professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. We need a "player-coach" who enjoys managing a team and strategy but is equally comfortable "getting their hands dirty" with technical tasks when needed.

If you have solid technical roots and are looking for a platform to sharpen your management skills within a regulated international environment, this role offers the perfect balance of operational authority and technical involvement.

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage day-to-day IT operations (infrastructure, applications, user support) 

• Ensure availability, security, and reliability of IT systems 

• Monitor incidents, KPIs, risks, and drive service improvements 

• Lead and develop the IT team; ensure effective user training 

• Act as the main IT contact for internal stakeholders 

• Manage IT vendors, contracts, and SLA performance 

• Support IT procurement, system upgrades, and implementations 

• Manage the IT operational budget and cost efficiency 

• Ensure compliance with internal standards, audits, and regulations 

• Maintain documentation, backups, and disaster recovery readiness 

Technical Operations & Infrastructure:

• Maintain and optimise our core infrastructure, including Windows Server environments and virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Administer and secure our cloud identity and collaboration ecosystem (Office 365, Microsoft Entra ID).
• Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure with a focus on FortiGate firewalls and Ubiquiti networking solutions.

 Requirements 

• Experience: 5+ years of general IT experience.
• Management Ambition: A strong desire to develop leadership skills and take full ownership of IT operations, while remaining a hands-on technical expert.
• The Stack: Practical, deep-level experience with:
• Microsoft Ecosystem: Windows Server, Office 365, and Entra ID.
• Virtualisation: VMware and Hyper-V.
• Networking: Hands-on configuration of FortiGate and Ubiquiti hardware.
• Operational Readiness: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues personally when the situation requires a "deep dive."
• Standards: Understanding of (or readiness to work within) highly regulated environments like GxP or ISO.
• Communication: Professional fluency in English and Ukrainian is essential for daily collaboration across our 9+ countries of operation.
