During my participation in Soliya's Connect Program, I engaged in structured virtual dialogues with a diverse, international cohort, developing advanced skills in cross-cultural communication and conflict resolution. Through weekly facilitated sessions, I mediated discussions on complex global topics between participants from 8+ countries, learning to navigate cultural differences while maintaining productive dialogue. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate clearly across cultural boundaries, actively listen to differing perspectives, and collaboratively problem-solve in multicultural environments—skills I directly applied when handling international client inquiries in subsequent customer support roles. The program's emphasis on empathy-building and inclusive communication techniques has proven invaluable in de-escalating tense customer interactions and fostering positive engagement.
