KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

Program management.

• Plan, prepare and oversee the implementation of components of the Emergency Shelter and Reconstruction activities in the Ukraine /East area, ensuring the quality program.

• Check and compliance with budgets allocated for project implementation, participation in budget planning.

• Represent and support the Program Manager in meetings (internal and external).

• Ensure appropriate evaluation, implementation and monitoring systems are in place.

• Supervise, manage and support staff in all the process by solving the problems that could occur.

• Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to donors. Respond to enquiries, needs and challenges that arise that are related directly or indirectly to field of work.

Specific Engineering Responsibilities.

• Conducting needs assessments. This includes but is not limited to Rapid Needs Assessments (RNA), Multi-Sector Needs Assessments (MSNA), Detailed/Sectoral Estimates and Construction Estimates (including BoQ).

• Managing and planning construction projects.

• Preparing Bills of Quantities and drawings for all construction projects.

• Surveying the construction site, describing how the project would like to be completed and its impact.

• Resolving construction problems effectively.

• Providing quality control and quality assurance to achieve project objectives.

• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations associated with construction work.

Project management for opening new commercial objects, reconstruction and rebranding of existing ones:

Analysis of upcoming construction projects, verification and adjustment of design and estimate documentation, optimization of estimates if necessary, search for a contractor and conclusion of a contract for construction and installation work, a full cycle of quality control, timing, materials and equipment used, compliance of construction and installation works with design and estimate documentation, organization of related work divisions, acceptance of work performed, transfer of the finished object to the sales department, closing of certificates of work performed.

Head of the technical supervision group for construction in the construction department (customer service). A full cycle of construction and installation works of industrial and civil facilities: reconstruction, technical re-equipment of production shops, major and current repairs, new construction.

Functions:

1. Development and approval of design and estimate documentation, organization of construction production at the facility.
2. Quality control, timing, compliance of construction, installation and repair work with design and estimate documentation. Introduction of all necessary technical and executive documentation.
3. Verification of acts of work performed for compliance with the volumes and types of work actually performed, materials used and their costs.
4. Safe operation of buildings and structures.
