Requirements:
- Linux administration: 3 years+, understanding of OS architecture and subsystems;
- Network: TCP/IP, OSI, Routing/Switching, IPv6, NAT/PAT, VPN/IPSec, DNS, Mikrotik RouterOS;
- Scripting: Bash, Python, Ansible;
- Virtualisation and Container management: VMWare, VSphere (VDS), Kubernetes, Docker;
- DB management: PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Redis;
- Monitoring and troubleshooting skills;
- English: Upper-Intermediate.
Software management:
- Kubernetes+Helm;
- Nginx;
- PostgreSQL;
- Elasticsearch;
- Redis;
- OpenVPN;
- Zabbix management;
- Grafana;
- CI/CD management (GitHub, Jenkins).
Responsibility:
- Evaluation & documentation of existing networking/virtual infrastructure;
- Periodically evaluate the network/server infrastructure for security & performance improvements;
- Document the provisioning and configuration of server infrastructure using Ansible;
- Enhancement and support server infrastructure capabilities by configuring existing infrastructure and utilizing new technologies;
- Implementation and support of monitoring tools. Infrastructure monitoring and support according to monitoring system data;
- Collaborate with an existing team of managers & engineers to produce high quality collocation operation;
- Backup system management;
- Help in implementation and integration of CI/CD.
