As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of the product configurators with CPQ engines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, design, sales, and marketing, to ensure our products meet market needs and drive business growth. Your role will involve strategic planning, product development, and lifecycle management. Our team is located in Eastern Europe and the US. This position will require working hours during US business hours.

Day to Day Activities

  • Meetings with Customers: Schedule and conduct meetings via Zoom, Slack, or email to discuss requirements, provide updates, and gather feedback.
  • Meetings with Internal Teams: Participate in meetings via Zoom, Skype, or email to align with engineering, design, and other internal teams on project progress and requirements.
  • Documentation: Write and update documentation in Google Docs and Shortcut to ensure all product information, specifications, and requirements are well-documented and accessible.
  • Validation Testing: Perform validation testing to ensure that the product meets quality standards and fulfills requirements before launch.
  • Product Analysis and Research: Conduct product analysis and research to identify opportunities for improvements and ensure the product remains competitive and aligned with market trends.
  • Prioritization and Backlog Management: Regularly review and prioritize the product backlog based on evolving business needs, customer feedback, and technical considerations.
  • Sprint Planning and Reviews: Participate in sprint planning meetings to define and refine tasks for the development team and conduct sprint reviews to assess progress, demo new features, and gather feedback.
  • Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor competitors and market trends to stay informed about industry developments and identify potential threats or opportunities.
  • Performance Metrics Tracking: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Support and Issue Resolution: Collaborate with customer support to address and resolve customer issues related to the product.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and share knowledge with internal teams and stakeholders about new features, product updates, and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, expectations, and any concerns they may have.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Monitor and manage the budget and resources allocated to the product, ensuring that expenditures and resource usage align with project goals.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Three or more years of product management experience in information technology (IT).
  • Proven experience in managing product lifecycles and developing product strategies.
  • Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions based on complex scenarios.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong understanding of user needs and market trends.
  • Proficiency in English (C1-C2 level required).
  • Proficiency with product management tools and related software, including Shortcut, MS Excel, Outlook, Slack, etc.
  • PMP, ITIL, or ITSM certification is a plus.
