Trading transactions analyst (1 year contract)

Main purpose of position

Currently we are looking for a Trading transactions analyst in Kyiv, Ukraine to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Trading transactions analyst you act as an owner of the trading process for Progresivka SPVs, specialist for daily sales transactions, BID proposals for electricity system unload, imbalance cost reconciliation and other RES regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities 

• On daily basis submit to broker D-4, D-2 and D-1 forecast and uploading them into NEK system for sales deal registration
• On daily basis upload to NEK platform BIDs for energy system unloading with volume and price proposals (curtailments proposals)
• Managing curtailment commands physical execution via Generator system
• On a monthly basis reconcile volume and price for the executed curtailments commands. To make sure of the timely and fulness curtailment of energy invoice payment
• Per each decade to reconcile with broker sold energy volumes and prices. Control timely and fulness payments for such sold energy according to the agreement conditions
• On a monthly basis reconcile with broker volume and price of the energy   in the reporting month
• Per each decade reconcile with broker sold/bought volumes and prices for the balancing energy (imbalances). To make sure that such volumes include the contractually agreed group optimization effect
• On a monthly basis reconcile with broker volume and price of the balancing energy for the reporting month. Initiate issuance of accounting documents for the sold proficit balancing energy and control timely and fulness payments for such sold energy according to the agreement conditions
• Support reports and dashboards in the BI system
• Upload data to the Regulator systems upon requests
• Communicate with the OM team (both internal and external) with the purpose to reflect equipment downtime, Local Oblenergo commands, and other events into sales deals registration
• To liaise with other local depended stakeholders involved (CMC, forecast providers and etc)

Qualifications and competencies 

• University Degree preferably in Technical/Finance/Business analyses
• 3+ years experience in project management and analytics
• Technical and commercial background
• At least Intermediate English both written and spoken
• Comprehensive skills in Excel, Power BI and similar tools for analyses
• Accuracy, self-motivation, ability to target results, and endurance
