Building on this success, UGS is now developing a comprehensive Repatriation and Career Program to help Ukrainian graduates educated abroad return home, contribute professionally, and drive systemic impact.

About the Opportunity

Ukraine Global Scholars (UGS) is seeking an experienced, visionary Talent Return and Integration Manager to lead the operational development and implementation of two flagship initiatives: 

• The Back2Impact Ukraine Platform, a digital hub that matches global Ukrainian and Western talent with opportunities in Ukraine;

• The UGS Ukraine Impact Fellowship Program, designed to connect US talent with high-impact roles in Ukraine.

This is a strategic and operational role for a systems thinker who understands both talent ecosystems and digital product development. The ideal candidate combines experience in launching or managing platforms with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a deep commitment to Ukraine’s reconstruction.

The gross annual compensation ranges between $18,000-21,000 and is based on experience. UGS also provides medical insurance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Back2Impact Ukraine Platform

• Design the platform concept, structure, and logic.

• Define user journeys (talent, employers, administrators).

• Define core features (candidate profiles, employer dashboards, matching algorithms, analytics tools, etc.).

• Work closely with external developers (note: the platform will be built by professional developers,  this role is responsible for product vision, structure, and coordination).

• Lead beta testing, iterate based on user feedback.

• Ensure alignment between platform functionality and UGS’s talent integration strategy.

Experience in launching, scaling, or managing digital platforms is highly desirable.

1. UGS Ukraine Impact Fellowship Program:

• Day-to-day management of the UGS Impact Fellowship Program.
• Coordinate timelines, documentation, and program logistics to ensure smooth execution.
• Onboarding process for selected Fellows, introducing them to program expectations and resources.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Fellows throughout the Program.
• Manage Fellows’ placements (based on pre-identified pathways) and oversee their implementation.
• Maintain communication with host employers and support alignment of expectations between Fellows and organizations.
• Ensure smooth communication between Fellows, host organizations, and UGS leadership.
• Track Fellows’ progress and satisfaction, monitoring performance and engagement.
• Collect feedback to improve the Program.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product/project management and launching or managing digital platforms, talent marketplaces, or career ecosystems.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Ukrainian or international institution.

• Fluent in English and Ukrainian.

• Understanding of Ukraine’s labor market and talent development challenges.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Ukrainian and English 
  Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex problems efficiently

• Demonstrated ownership and accountability in managing tasks and outcomes

• Proactive work style, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative

• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional or team environments
