Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our remote e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory management, quality control, and supporting various operational tasks within our company.

Responsibilities:

• Source new products and suppliers to expand our e-commerce offerings;
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for our e-commerce store;
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure stock accuracy;
• Perform quality control remote checks on incoming and outgoing products, with a focus on peptides;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including those in different time zones, to optimize inventory management processes;
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems;
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to inventory and operations;
• Provide support to customer service in resolving inventory-related issues;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce operations;
• Evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, lead times, and reliability;
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness;
• Coordinate with suppliers on the manufacturing of new products, including providing specifications, timelines and quality requirements;
• Manage the end-to-end process of bringing new products to market, from initial concept to launch on the e-commerce store;
• Continuously assess product performance and make recommendations for improvements or discontinuations;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturing partners;
• Ensure all products and suppliers comply with relevant regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in inventory management and quality control, preferably within the e-commerce industry;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or e-commerce operations;
• Familiarity with inventory management software and tools;
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams across different time zones;
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting;
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment;

• Flexibility to work part-time hours as needed.

Nice to have:

• Strong knowledge of peptides and their handling procedures is highly desirable.
