Finance Team Lead

We’re seeking a highly capable Finance team lead to enhance our finance team’s efficiency. In this pivotal role, you’ll contribute to the automation of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with international standards, and driving our financial strategy. Your expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting will play a critical role in optimizing costs and improving financial processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial (statutory) audits, funds flow audits
• Reconciliations and budgeting of international group of companies (EU, UK or similar law)
• Oversight of companies compliance with international financial regulations (transfer pricing, IFRS and rules and recommendations, OECD).
• Making payments to counterparties, vendors, partners, analysis and correspondence with banks
• Oversight and execution of payroll and remunerations to employees in different jurisdictions (setting up of local and international scheduled payments)
• Proper and structured record keeping for companies in the group.
• Transparent and structured financial reporting to the company management
• Monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting per department and companies in the group
• Analytics of expenses per department, project and company and creation of a proposal for cost optimization
• Tracking and finding the unused assets (services, licenses, equipment, etc.)
• Timely passing statutory audits, correspondence with financial auditing in compliance with the relevant tax authorities
• Improval of internal financial documentation, collaboration with HR, operations, legal and other departments on internal record keeping (promotions, bonuses, new budgets or financial requests)
• Oversight for confidentiality of companies financial data
• Hiring assistance, training additional financial controllers if required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor and Masters in international finance / accounting / similar
• At least 3 years of total experience in senior/lead position in international companies, working with international group of companies
• Experience in international payments executions (control of supporting documents, correspondence with EU and international banks)
• At least 3 years in charge of a group of international companies forecasting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and other business processes
• Knowledge and experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (EU, UK)
• Experience in structuring and establishment of financial control, budgeting function
• Experience in reconciliation of group of companies
• Experience in working with UK/European and/or developed countries accounts
• Experience in passing statutory audits, accounting, working with UK/EU/Similar law financial auditors
• Advanced user of Excel spreadsheets English (main) + additional RU/UA languages
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to perform complex qualitative and quantitative analysis;

Optional, but would be a plus:

• Experience in international IT / high tech companies with complex structures)
• Jira or similar CRMs, automatizations.
• BI tools or similar (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau)
