Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a robust financial strategy to align with and support the company’s long-term objectives.
• Lead and manage financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic long-term planning.
• Provide expert financial counsel to the CEO, COO, and senior management, focusing on financial performance, risk management, and opportunities for business growth.
• Identify and establish alternative sources of funding (e.g., credit lines, bank guarantees) to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Optimize budgets to maximize profitability and efficiency across operations.
• Spearhead financial transformation initiatives for both the Ukrainian and EU markets, ensuring seamless integration of new processes and systems.
• Analyze financial data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for cost optimization.
• Oversee strategic financial functions such as cash flow management, treasury operations, and financial control.
• Ensure transparent and compliant accounting, auditing, and financial reporting processes, adhering to all relevant regulations.
• Implement and enforce effective financial policies, systems, and procedures to ensure accurate reporting and financial management.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering an environment for professional development and operational excellence.
• Manage essential financial operations including cash flow, banking, insurance, contract negotiations, and high-level corporate dealings with key partners and suppliers.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to the company’s business model and expansion strategies. Develop and implement risk management practices to safeguard the company's financial health.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in financial transformation and business process optimization, particularly in multi-national markets.
• Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning systems; experience with finance-related technical solutions is a plus.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel; SQL experience is advantageous.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver on complex initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are desirable.
• An MBA or other advanced degree would be a significant advantage.
