Medicines Stock Analyst
The international non-profit organization Management Sciences for Health (MSH) implementing in Ukraine the USAID-supported Safe, Affordable and Effective Medicines for Ukrainians Activity (SAFEMed), is looking for a Medicines Stock Analyst for a short-term Consultant position.
The primary objective of the Medicines Stock Analyst consultant's role is to verify regional stock and demand for viral hepatitis commodities, utilizing both the MedData system and Excel databases compiled by the Center for Public Health (CPH). This involves offering recommendations for addressing issues and identifying the optimal source for the dashboard displaying stock information.
THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collection of information about stocks and demand from both sources for a deep comparison. This analysis aims to reveal the initial reasons of discrepancies, assess the extent of the mismatch, pinpoint key regions with discrepancies, and identify problematic products.
- Offering recommendations for problem-solving and establishing a unified and standardized method for healthcare facilities to input data regarding the remaining stocks of viral hepatitis commodities.
- Providing recommendations for the optimal organization of visualizations (dashboards) displaying stocks of viral hepatitis commodities at health facilities in regions. Involvement in the process of dashboard ToR creation.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's or Master`s degree in Public Health, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Management, Medical Management or equivalent education.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Preferred:
- Experience in public health programs or related to public health system reform.
- Experience in public health management with an emphasis on supply chain in public health or/and in medical procurements.
- Experience in providing technical assistance in public health programs/projects, especially in supply chain or/and in medical procurements.
- Experience working in Ukraine with MOH, CPH, MPU and similar level organizations in the field of healthcare and governance.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, technical writing, training experience, ability to identify and resolve policy and operational constraints, generate ideas and solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
