Personal assistant (remote) with tech mindset

AVU SA is one of Europe's top fine wine merchants, holding over 600,000 bottles from the world's most prestigious wine regions such as Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Tuscany, and Napa Valley. With exclusive allocations from renowned estates, our wines are sourced from producers, collectors, and merchants to ensure impeccable provenance and quality. Our headquarters are based in Melide, Switzerland, with an additional office located in Leon, Spain, and warehouses in multiple locations including Stabio, Bordeaux, London, and Spain.

We are looking now an assistant to IT departmnet. Responsibilities and activities will very along the way, but it's assential to have a logical mindset, tech understanding, and good english. 

Duties examples: 

1. Assistance with recruitment. Linkeding screening, contacting people, initial communications and calls with candidates. (10% of time, from the beginining - 90% until all roles closed). Very easy things, just time consuming, we will explain all

2. Operational tasks - e.g. assistance with team gathering planning in different countries. Analytical research, reports in excel, data analysis, etc

3. Understanding how our ERP system works, writing user documentation about logic and functionality. 

4. Once some decent knowledge gained - engagement with testing activities of the ERP system, and business users support related to system and functionality. 

Main requirements: 

Ideal candidate could be QA engineer, tech writer, business analyst, etc - a person somehow related to tech/IT industry. Unfortunately pure philology won't give you the possibility to efficiently perform your duties unless you have really good skills in tech/logic.

Must have:

1. Logical thinking, good with tech, math

2. Good English, minimim real upper intermediate, to be able to communicate with foreign people, write emails, jump on calls, write tech documentation

3. Knowledge of excel. Ability to compare data several datasets, apply formulas, make pivot tables, etc. 

4. You have practical experience using AI assistants (e.g. Chat GPT, Gemini, etc) in everyday life, you understand how they simplify you daily routine tasks.

5. Good communication skills

Nice to have: 

1. Experience in tech industry - as QA, BA, PM, etc. Or you have a higher education in IT without experience.

2. Experience working in some of the spheres: Finance, accounting, supply chain. 

3. Experience with ERP Business Central

Other details: 

Working type - purely remotely from any country

Direct manager - IT Manager. 

ERP system - Microsoft Business Central. 

Employemnt type - via FOP, contract. Salary in USD - direct monthly transfers from swiss company to your account. 

Vacation - 20 working days/year

Sick leaves - 15 days/year

Medical insurance after trial period.
