Job Concept 

US-based accounting, tax, and advisory practice is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our expanding team.

As a Staff Accountant your main responsibility will be to provide outstanding service to our small and medium business clientele. We interact with our clients on a frequent basis and our systems keep workflow running smoothly throughout the year. You will supervise and review financial statement preparation and analysis and help our clients with ongoing business planning. As a primary contact person, you will provide exceptional personal service to clients in long-lasting working relationships. 

Knowledge & Experience 

To fulfill the role the candidate is expected to meet the following requirements: 

• Bachelor's/master's degree in accounting, finance, economics or business administration 

• Basic knowledge of structure and content of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS 

• Practical experience in preparation of financial statements as well as experience in financial modeling and budgeting 

• Any exams/parts passed on professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, DipIFR) is an advantage 

• At least B2 English, fluent Ukrainian 

Skills  

• Complex thinking skills in translating customer needs into solutions 

• Professional presence, including excellent written communication skills 

• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously on a day-to-day basis 

• Ability to interact with all personality styles as well as various cultural backgrounds 

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required 

• Strong computer skills, proficiency with MS Excel is a must 

• CRM experience is a plus
