Accountant
The Good Plastic Company is the leading international manufacturer of sustainable surface materials, made from 100% recycled and recyclable plastic under its Polygood® brand. The mission-driven company was founded in the Netherlands in 2018. Since the company is growing and expanding into the new market in the USA, we are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team.
Requirements:
1. Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
2. Minimum of two years of experience in accounting or finance.
3. Experience working in international companies is preferred.
4. Knowledge and experience with accounting software. Experience with SAP or QuickBooks Online is a plus but not mandatory (training provided).
5. Proficiency in MS Excel.
6. Intermediate level of English.
Responsibilities:
1. Entering data of invoices and checks into QuickBooks software for the UK, NL, and USA entities accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Processing outgoing payments into the accounting system.
3. Ensuring all transactions are assigned to the correct account and cost centers.
4. Verifying travel reports and expense claims and providing assistance to staff on processes and documents.
5. Assisting with Cash Flow reports.
6. Assisting with the accrual of bonuses.
7. Performing all other tasks and duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
