QA engineer (Strong Middle)
Tech stack: • Back-end: PHP • Front-end: React • Cloud Technologies: AWS/GCP for infrastructure, storage, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the QA process by designing, implementing, and optimizing comprehensive test strategies.
• Develop and maintain detailed test cases, checklists, and documentation for web application testing.
• Perform advanced functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring high standards of delivery.
• Analyze complex requirements and design effective test plans to mitigate risks early in the development lifecycle.
• Validate the interaction between APIs and cloud-based services, ensuring optimal performance in distributed environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless delivery.
• Identify gaps in QA processes and suggest improvements to ensure scalability and reliability.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in QA for web applications.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development lifecycle.
• Experience testing web applications with React on the front end.
• Advanced knowledge of REST API testing (Postman, Swagger, or similar tools). • Proven experience working with cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including validating the performance and security of cloud services. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their integration with QA processes. • Ability to analyze logs, monitor performance, and debug issues in collaboration with the development team. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Solid experience with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Trello, or similar). • Proficiency in written and spoken English for documentation and communication.
Nice to Have • Hands-on experience with basic automation testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium). • Experience with database testing (SQL). • Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Kibana, Sentry) for monitoring and troubleshooting. • Background in healthcare or regulated industries is a plus.
More about the team: company has around 20 people, Development team includes Frontent Developer, Backend Developer, Manual QA, DevOps, Designer and Product Manager.
