Accountant

The Opportunity

We are looking for a focused and reliable candidate to join our Ukrainian team as an Accountant. You will be supporting the Assistant Controller with ensuring all reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner, investigating and understanding any variance encountered and concisely reporting this to senior management. This is a great chance to be involved fast moving company and become a valuable part of the finance team which spans Ukraine, the UK and the US. You will be reporting to the Assistant Controller and working closely with key stake holders across the business. 

Role Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly close entries, including producing supporting documentation for all entries.
• Ensure all BS recs are completed promptly after ME close.
• Maintain month and quarter end close checklists and review accounts for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in preparation of the monthly financials to be reviewed by the Assistant Controller and wider finance team.
• Working closely with the Assistant Controller to support the implementation of improvements to process around reporting.
• Support with preparation of any documentation required by the onsite audit team with the wider finance team

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with internal and external parties to solve problems and resolve queries.
• Great attention to detail.
• Higher education in the field of accountancy.
• Planning, prioritisation and time management skills.
• Excellent MS Office Excel skills.
• Integrity and discretion.
• Experience of Oracle NetSuite software would be beneficial
