Project officer (Mobile unit coordinator)

Under the supervision of the GFFO Project Manager, the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) coordinator (Project Officer) is responsible for ensuring the daily implementation of the projects and the achievement of the objectives defined by humedica according to the donor requirements and internal policies and procedures.  

The Project Officer is responsible for planning, managing, monitoring MMU activities and measuring results from Logframe indicators.  

Key tasks 

1. Actively participate in primary health care needs assessments as necessary. 

2. Maintain a calendar of doctors' appointments and other schedules. 

3. Facilitate day by day activities and field trips of the MMU in Dnipropetrovska and Zaporizska oblasts. 

4. Support mobile unit staff in maintaining project records and documentation, including confidentiality and protection of patient data. 

5. Communicate schedule and activities changes or adjustments to all project staff and external stakeholders. 

6. Implement and conduct project related meetings / induction trainings with necessary project staff and local medical specialists. 

7. Coordinate with local medical facilities to scheduled field visits. 

8. Supervise and provides support for MUU`s staff 

9. Coordinates quality assurance of services for MMU`s 

10. Support the development of referral pathways to specialized health facilities and secondary health care. 

11. Provide support to humedica's MEAL department in the data collection process. 

12. Participate in the preparation of internal narrative reports for donor, including providing monthly reports to humedica's Health Coordinator. 

13. Work closely with the humedica`s Procurement officer, Medical Coordinator, GFFO Project manager and MMU doctors to ensure availability of essential medications. 

14. In close cooperation with storekeeper ensures proper storage, accounting and writing off of medication 

15. Fulfills other responsibilities as assigned.
