Hey guys!
It’s Max, founder at Norml Studio
At Norml, we’ve built two strong teams in Design and Development. Recently, we decided to bring SEO in-house and are now actively developing the approach, processes, and team. It’s been a smooth transition to offer SEO services to our existing clients, but we’re taking things slow and precise to ensure we deliver solid results to them first.
Now, we’re on the lookout for in-house talent. We’ve been working with an SEO specialist and Content Manager on a project basis, testing a few initiatives to figure out what our team needs, and now we’re ready to make a next step.
I’m looking for a mid-level SEO specialist who’s not afraid of routine work, can have my back, and help build the system together.
I believe we should start with a solid, generalist in-house SEO specialist — someone who knows the ropes, might have a specific area of expertise but can handle a broad range of tasks initially. For now, we’ll stick to outsourcing link builders and content managers until we see that our SEO specialist can handle his part at a high level.
Responsibilities:
- Audit and analyze on-site and off-site SEO for client websites
- Prepare technical research and tasks for programmers
- Cross-link page content or collaborate with the content manager on that
- Write meta-information for pages
- Correct any H1-H6 headers or pieces of content as needed
- Prepare tasks for copywriters
- Create templates with the PM and Architect (me)
- Provide weekly and monthly updates for projects
- Work on outreach (we might need a separate person here, but I’m looking for someone who can discuss and test the process with us, run it for a while, then help place a dedicated person on it)
English should be well enough to verbally discuss project details with a client. We have a few Ukrainian clients, but our main focus and marketing efforts are aimed at the US market.
Projects:
Our clients are primarily US businesses, including shops, law firms, coworking spaces, boat rentals, blogs, and SaaS platforms. We handle both high-traffic and low-traffic websites. Everything we design and develop now comes with SEO services, so you’ll have the support of our programmers and designers.
We do not work with gray or questionable niches.
As you can see, our goal is to find someone who can cover all the bases. I’m aware we’ll need more specialized team members soon, but this is the right way to launch a new branch.
I’ve been diving deep into SEO for the past few months and am ready to jump in with you to build out the system. I’ll be there to support you with my time, resources, and I’m eager to hear your vision for improving things. Within a year, we should have a strong SEO department, and there’s a good chance you’ll be leading it and taking on more responsibilities.
If you’re ready to work hard, help build an SEO system in the US market, are passionate about SEO, and want to be part of a great team—shoot me a message. I personally review every application, so rest assured that everything you write in your response will be seen by me.
Cheers,
Max Tymoshyn
