• To take lead in joint monitoring visits conducted with partners or technical teams and write a reports about these activities.
• Ensure timely and quality data collection, by drafting the necessary quantitative and qualitative tools (ToR and data collection tools, including coding).
• Ensure implementation of MEAL plans through routine monitoring of activities at the field level.
• Support teams to pilot data collection tools and integrate the findings into the final tools.
• Facilitate project’s use of mobile data collection by leading on the process and troubleshooting.
• Train and manage the M&E Assistants/ volunteers/ enumerators to carry out regular M&E functions.
• Perform timely and quality data cleaning on all data collected and upload into the server.
• Perform timely and quality data analysis of MEAL data for different projects as needed through Excel or other statistical software.
• Ensure timely and quality reporting of MEAL activities implemented by their team (spot checks, monitoring activities…).
• To take lead in the coding of questionnaires on Kobo Toolbox.
• Ensure recruitment of M&E assistants/ enumerators under their direct line management.
• Provide effective and constructive daily supervision of M&E assistants/ enumerators while strengthening their skills and capacity.
• Ensure proper management of data collectors.
• Conduct entry level training for external stakeholders on basic M&E concepts.
• Proactively identify good practices based on M&E findings and encourage utilization of data.
• Provide support for donor reports and proposal inputs.
• Support Accountability team in the resolution of complaints when required.
• Support program teams when necessary, provide support to the technical M&E team when required.
